It happened. I got the idea for my new project.
As you know, I've been clearing my plate for the pending new chapter in life. The domestic adventure that is coming needs prep time for a gal like me. A personal spring cleaning if you will both in the heart, in the head, and on the desktop. Responsibilities need to be fine tuned, organized, managed. I almost feel mature about it.
My work side of things need brand-managing, and I've been concerned about this. Thinking about my name, how to lead it to the next level, and most of all questioning what kind of project I want to align myself in the land of JenLeo 2.0.
So, this morning, over breakfast at Salvatores in the Mission, while eating Huevos Gusto, a talk with my pal Harold and his wife Jenny led me to the answer. It's perfect. Not too big, not too small, of the right media, and with plenty of room for growth. I can start it tomorrow (only because I'm busy all day today), and it can be up and running in a matter of a week or two. Naturally, I'm not going to lay out the specifics here while I pen out the details, but rest easy knowing that this period of questioning is nearly over, and I feel great about a project that I have both experience in and passion for. This one is not travel related, but it will allow me enough time to also work on freelance writing, publicity, and any outstanding travel projects that I do find worthy of becoming involved with.
I'm thrilled. Stay tuned. And big thanks to My Idea Man.
