Hi! I'm Jennifer Caldwell now, but I'll continue to write under my maiden name, Jen Leo. Currently I'm the keynote blogger for the Los Angeles Times Daily Travel & Deal Blog.

Location: Usually bouncing between Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
You might know me from:
The Travelers' Tales women's humor series. I've edited or co-edited six books with Travelers' Tales including Sand in My Bra, Whose Panties Are These?, The Thong Also Rises, What Color is Your Jockstrap?, More Sand in My Bra and A Woman's Path. All of the books have won awards and I'm hoping that More Sand in My Bra will follow in it's footsteps. Julia Weiler did an excellent job editing this collection.
WrittenRoad.com. I founded Written Road, a popular blog for travel writers, back in 2001 and wrote for it for nearly five years before handing it completely over to the BootsnAll Travel Network. While I was there it chronicled my journey as a travel writer, followed me on national book tours, provided aspiring travel writers with news and resources, and offered news from within the travel writing community. During the time I was a part of Written Road it was noted as one of the Writers Digest 101 Best Websites for Writers, and a Frommer’s Editor’s Choice: Our Favorite Travel Blogs.
The Poker World. I have been writing the "Bird on the Rail" column for BLUFF for more than year, contributed to Woman Poker Player, and had my love story, "I'll Have a Cheeseburger, Fries, and a King of Hearts," published in the anthology Women's Poker Night. I stepped away from writing "Bird on the Rail" and now poker writer Change 100 has taken over and added all sorts of fun Page Six-type attitude to it. Check it out.
Travel Writing. My writing has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, ForbesTraveler.com, TIME, Student Traveler, STA's Break and more.
Blogger. In addition to the L.A. Times Daily Travel & Deal Blog, I write for MobiTV.com's Untethered Blog, and have previously blogged for Six Apart, Weblogs Inc., BootsnAll Travel Network, and HotelChatter.
Interviews: I've talked about how I got into travel writing on these magazines and web-zines.
